The McCarthy Building Companies is one of 43 businesses looking to fill internships and full-time jobs at the 34th iExpo.

More than 625 students took part in the annual iExpo at the University of Arizona on Feb. 5. Run by the U of A Engineering Student Council, iExpo encourages networking between students and industry partners to help students make the transition from academics to workforce.

Now in its 34th year, iExpo brought 43 companies to the U of A campus, including giants like Honeywell and Caterpillar Inc.

“As the College of Engineering’s largest student-run career fair, iExpo helps engineering students connect directly with companies and take meaningful steps toward internships and full-time roles,” said Carter Buss, aerospace engineering junior and director of corporate relations for the Engineering Student Council

Buss landed an internship with General Dynamics Mission Systems, an aerospace and defense company, at iExpo last year.

In addition to the job fair, iExpo corporate partners, which employ many U of A alums, support the College of Engineering with sponsorships, career information events and mentoring.
