Aerospace engineering undergraduate Zachary Yang accepts outstanding senior honors from AME assistant research professor Daniel Diaz.

At an event held in the University of Arizona Student Union Memorial Center on April 8, the College of Engineering honored 17 undergraduate seniors, nine graduate students, and 10 teaching assistants for top performance in academics and research.

"This is one of the best days of the year," said David W. Hahn, the Craig M. Berge Dean of the college. "Today, we get to celebrate you and everything you've accomplished."

Aerospace engineering senior Zachary Yang and mechanical engineering senior Molly Auer received honors along with aerospace graduate student Felipe Rodrigues Fuentes and teaching assistant Adam Skora.

“Molly is a model student, excelling academically while contributing meaningfully across multiple areas of engineering. She has maintained outstanding academic performance while succeeding in some of the most challenging courses," said Daniel Diaz, assistant research professor in the Department of Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering.
