AME Students Celebrated At Luncheon

The College of Engineering honored four aerospace and mechanical engineering seniors and graduate students at the Outstanding Student Luncheon on Dec. 9, 2019. The students were recognized for their academic achievement, as well as their performance in internships, volunteer organizations and campus groups. The luncheon's AME honorees were:

Outstanding Seniors

Aerospace Engineering: Jesse Samitas Chavarria, nominated by assistant professor Jekan Thanga

Mechanical Engineering: Shawn Granzier-Nakajima, nominated by professor and associate department Head Samy Missoum

Outstanding Graduate Students

Aerospace Engineering: Ravi Teja Nallapu, nominated by assistant professor Jekan Thanga
